We acknowledge that this trail is located on the traditional territories of Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute), and Timpanogos tribes.
One of the best waterfalls in the area! Gorgeous views from top and bottom points, the lush green trees and overflowing falls in the summer transition to a cascading tower of ice in the winter.
Parking at Aspen Grove requires an entry fee, or is free with a National Parks Pass. The trail starts from the parking lot. The trail is well marked and maintained. The beginning is a bit more steep with tree coverage, so we recommend wearing shoes with good traction and ankle support. When you get to the falls, make sure to hike down to the river to view the it from the base.
This trail is stunning any time of year. Catch it in the summer for a good cool-off, fall for the colors, or winter for a waterfall of ice! This hike is one of the more popular in the area, so best to avoid weekends/holidays and miss the crowds.
