We acknowledge that this trail is located on the traditional territories of Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute) and Eastern Shoshone.
This hike is great for all ages and is also dog friendly! It’s also one of the only suspension bridges in Utah and it’s easily accessible, being close to the city of draper. Not only is the bridge fun to see and walk across, but you will get great views of Draper valley from the bridge and along the hike itself.
This hike is very exposed. Since there is not a lot of shade, make sure to wear a hat and sunscreen. And don’t forget to bring water for you and your pup. If your dog doesn’t do well with other dogs, please leash up! This is a loop, so you can choose which way you would like to go, but we prefer going to the left! Follow the map as there are some offshoot trails that may be confusing.
This is a favorite sunset hike, as you get to witness beautiful views as the sun goes. It’s also so green in the summer! But we definitely recommend avoiding mid day heat by going early morning or sunset.
