We acknowledge that this trail is located on the traditional territories of Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute), and Timpanogos tribes.
A hidden gem! Sweeping views of Mount Timpanogos and Cascade make this one of our new favorites.
The trail starts off steep, but soon levels out when you turn onto the loop. Once in the valley, you’ll enjoy panoramic mountain views throughout. Enjoy the wildflowers in the spring and even an abandoned old car as you curve around this trail. This is a fully exposed hike, so take care to apply sunscreen and bring water. Grasshoppers are also common in the late summer, so longer pants are recommended.
We recommend turning left and doing the trail clockwise once you get to the loop split.
Catch the wildflowers in the early summer, or a light dusting of snow in the spring. We recommend hiking this one around sunset for best lighting and least heat!
